When someone breaks up with me, this is why I don’t fight back.
If they really wanted to be with you, then they would. If they just walk off out of your life and into someone else’s, what’s the point of fighting for them, it’s like forcing them to stay with you. Sure it shows how much you love them, but if you do convince the person to stay with you, do you think they’ll love you back? They’re leaving in the first place because they don’t want to be with you any more.
